Sure, it looks like a broken demo cube program. That's because that's what it is. But it represents me getting back on the bandwagon with this whole hobby of 3D graphics programming when I should be doing something to make myself useful. Today we begin with yet another ground-up rewrite, but this time with Vulkan instead of OpenGL, thanks to a hardware update.
I say today, but this has taken literally a few days short of a month to get to the point, just now, where it displayed anything but a blank window. Just before this, I got it to display a blank window with a dark grey background, and then, the broken cube above. (It's because I got the "stride" wrong in my vertex buffer.)
But in any case, this is my hobby and I will waste my time as I like. Forward!
